The reason for my starting this group-I am a stay at home mom with an 11 month old daughter and a 9 year old Chihuahua who is also like my baby.   I have found since my daughter was born last May, I have spent a little less time with my fur baby. … NJ Sneakers has a "No Dogs/No Kids" policy.  I've found that dogs and kids tend to be problems on hikes as far as safety and distractions are concerned.  There are other groups that cater to pet owners/parents so if this is a big issue for you, then NJ Sneakers is not the group for you.
