The Homeless Pets Foundation is a special-needs rescue group, taking in injured, neglected, abused, and 'last chance' (scheduled for euthanasia) animals to rehabilitate them and place them in permanent homes or foster care until we can adopt them out.

This is primarily a City of Decatur dog park meetup for lesbian/gay individuals over 40 who long to create a human pack of community. We are Decatur dog lovers who want to socialize our furry friends as well as ourselves while staying active and just having fun. You do not need a dog to come to meetups. … As for dogs, sorry currently we don't offer dog friendly hikes due to past incidents. Our hikes are slower paced 1-1.5 miles an hour, we take many breaks for water, snack and photo opps.
