I love Pugs and believe they are most "fun" and "funny" of any dog breed. Every day my Pugs make me laugh with something they do. I noticed that there are many Pug parents in the Santa Cruz area and thought it would be great to start a local group. I have one year old Pugs, Bella (a fawn) and Lola (black). I also have twin 11 year old boys. Everything comes in twos in our home... I look forward to meeting up with other Pug Parents and their Pugs at locations that will be safe and fun.

This Meet Up group was started in 2011, so that German Shepherds could play, exercise and socialization with their own kind. Meetups are held all around the South Bay Area and vary from hikes, beach trips, community events, fundraising and anything else we can think of. It is an opportunity to meet other German Shepherd owners, share experiences and knowledge while giving the German Shepherds the opportunity to play, exercise and socialize with other German Shepherds. We must ensure that the …
Welcome! We hike from a fraction of a mile to tens of miles, mostly in Santa Cruz County. Sometimes we will carpool up to one hour from Santa Cruz. Read the description carefully for each hike. Most hikes will have a steep and rugged part. Some hikes have shorter or flatter options. Children are welcome if they can keep up and sometimes dogs are welcome depending on local regulations. See the "Photos" section for pictures of past hikes. See the "About Us" section for frequently asked questions. …

Coastal hikes, inland hikes, simpler walks in town, cultural and social events -- we've expanded beyond the scope of the group's original name. Maybe some "hiking to music" in the form of Square Dancing or Ballroom Dancing. There will be some meetups at Cubberley Pavillion in Palo Alto where lessons are taught at 8pm every Friday and and Saturday nights. Some of our events will be small dog friendly as I have a Papillion. :) The age range is extended to make it a 35-65ish group. Anybody wit …

We organize fun and adventurous outings for dogs and their owners in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently most of our hikes are in the South Bay Area. We occasionally offer walks in the afternoon and/or evenings and training sessions with a dog trainer. Our sponsors are businesses that offer their free time to organize hikes, walks and other fun outings for you and your dog. We are solely run by volunteers. We will also post other dog related events as a courtesy. Happy Hiking!
Meet other local West Highland White Terrier (Westie) owners & lovers! Plus other small dogs and their owners (can't leave them behind)!
